Regency College of Culinary Arts and Hotel Management, one of the top colleges in India; is well known for its immense performance throughout its course since 1994 is consistently providing a platform to expertise and mesmerize everyone with their creative arts and skills.
Culinary Competition at Numaish
11th February, 2023 Regents of 1st and 3rd year of BHMCT participated in a culinary competition conducted by “82nd The All India Industrial Exhibition” at the Nampally Exhibition Grounds in the city.
Competitions like these not only extract and augment the finest skills of students, but also encourage growing as Professionals and Entrepreneurs with exemplary learning. In addition, Regency brings out the best in students and gives a scope to improve them by inculcating professional traits, confidence and uniqueness in their personality.
The competitions are of two categories- Millets competition (which marks the celebration of the year of millets), and Fruit and vegetable carving competition where each student received half an hour for millets competition and an hour for fruit and vegetable carving.
Clarity, Communication, Commitment
Competitions are won when a student’s caliber is increased with a certain level of practice. The chef’s brigade Cyril came into action to make sure that the students trained hard and did their best. Chef Nikhil catered first year BHMCT budding students who have an aptitude for the culinary arts with a creative bent of mind to exhibit the best culinary trends by using various tools and techniques.
The Masterpiece at Competition
Regents of first year had given a tough competition against final year hotel management students of top 6 reputed colleges of Hyderabad by showcasing their finesse carving skills, a niche of expertise and a signature of cooking style with time management.
The participants displayed unbridled enthusiasm and excellent team spirit. The budding chefs had an opportunity to exhibit their great creativity in preparing and presenting carving. After a strict demeanor judging out of 40 contestants, 1st sem budding students were awarded as winners in the competition

The principal of Regency appreciated their surreal presentation and were told to continue the same winning streak and emphasized that it’s of great demand and professional fruit carvers create attractive centerpieces and decorative items for events, wedding ceremonies, parties etc.
