Regmates-The Freshers-21

28 Year old college Regency College of culinary arts and Hotel Management Khairtabad affiliated to Osmania University, the senior regents organized a warm welcome party for their juniors Fresher’s party REGEMATES’2021, at Radisson Blu Hote Banjara Hills on 20^th of December’ 2021. The importance of Fresher’s Day is a gathering and welcoming of the Freshers: a kind of interaction between the seniors and juniors.  Seniors welcomed fresher’s from the core of their hearts. The juniors were overwhelmed by such a warm and lovely welcome extended to them by the seniors.  The event started with the traditional dance to welcome everyone and turned the environment energetic.

Theme:  The beauty of the ambience enriched with red and gold balloons which signified enthusiasm and cherishment. It depicted brightness and prosperity and also a great future to the Fresher’s.

Chief Guest: The Chief Guest of the Event was the Cluster General Manager of Radisson Blu, Mr. Sandeep Joshi he congratulated the students for taking a wise decision of joining the Top most college of H mgt in the state and country . Hospitality Industry is one of the booming industries, even we the effect of Pandemic, still the students are getting placed in Hotels across the world. He was overwhelmed with the enthusiasm shown by the students. He wished for their bright and glorious future, and  motivated them to explore opportunities.

Road to a Marvelous Party: Keeping in sync with all the seniors were dressed formally, and juniors were in fusion with a blend of Smart Formals & traditional attire. The girls were dressed up beautifully made the celebrations very vibrant. The energetic and enthusiastic emcees rocked the event with their timely and chirpy one liner. The seniors performed dances from the famous Bollywood numbers of hip hop. The melodious songs sung provided a breather from high energy dances. Little lilting music and the chunk of ice, new faces , smiles all along resounding laughter- yes it  is party time.

Nourishments @ Radisson: An exotic lavish buffet added fuel to the burning fire and indeed increased the adrenalin rush in the post noon continuation of the event, which included Hyderabadi Biryani, authentic sweets and savories.

The modeling contest & Ramp walk was the biggest attraction for the audience. The contest happened in 3 phases (ramp walk, introduction round and the question round). A total of 160 students participated in the contest and the fresh entrants participated in different games like bottle and balls, blow cards, ping pong, and dumb charades were thoroughly enjoyed and the juniors were given souvenir as a token of love and remembrance.

Eventually, the coveted title oF  Mr.&Ms.Fresher was announced. Ms–of BHMCT 1^ST year was unanimously declared as Ms Fresher and Mr. ——- of BHMCT 1^st year was selected Mr. Fresher 2021. The other category titled was Best Attire Female ———- and Best Male Attire ———–.WERE ANNOUNCED.

The party was ended up with a huge Cake cutting ceremony seniors wishing Good Luck and success to their juniors a Learning Journey @ Regency. The scintillating moments of the students swayed to the beats of the music DJ, mesmerized themselves in those moments and resonated the banquet hall.

The principal Mr P. Ramesh Kumar Reddy addressed youngsters to utilize the resources equipped with smart class rooms, advanced kitchen labs and library, so they turn out to be professionals efficient enough to work in the field of Hospitality . He also added that the students should be dedicated, concentrated hardworking, confident and passionate for their targets. Regency College of Hmgt has always been on the top with students doing very well in academics in the Osmania University examinations, stood top in State and National Level Competitions, the alumni associated as General Managers, Executive Chefs, Heads of Departments, CEO’s in Best Brands of Hotels both India and Abroad. He emphasized that even the current batches and also the new aspirants must gear up themselves to be industry geared up by utilizing the  best expertise of faculty team, It is the 28 Years of Journey of Regency par Excellence, and the contribution of Faculty Team who honed the young aspirants with knowledge and excellent, employment opportunities and also Alumni of Regency who have laid the road for RCHMCT establishing as a Top Brand.

 At the end there was a Sheer JOY and HAPPINESS with Loads of Memories embarked by the Senior Regents to their beloved Juniors.
