The Regency Breakfast League (RBL) unfolded a remarkable showcase of culinary expertise by 60 budding chefs enrolled in the Diploma in Food Production program. On April 15, 2023, the college premises came alive with a splendid Continental Breakfast Buffet, themed “REGENCY BREAKFAST LEAGUE.”

Against the backdrop of a cricket stadium panorama, the atmosphere was adorned with impressive Butter Carvings totaling 100 kilograms. These artistic creations depicted aquatic animals, including fish and flamingos, a statue of a man, as well as intricate designs such as Pastillage Art Cakes, Salt Dough Fruit Basket, and exquisitely carved vegetables.

This elaborate exhibition aimed to celebrate culinary diversity and foster the exchange of cultural influences from around the world. Encompassing Confectionery, Hot Buffet, Cold Buffet, and a Live Counter, the display featured an extensive repertoire of approximately 100 recipes. Beyond the culinary spectacle, the event served as a bridge between academia and the industry, providing a platform for students to showcase their skill sets.

Ms. Gongadi Trisha, “The Best Batswoman of the Indian Cricket Team under 19 – T20 World Cup 2022,” graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She commended the unique culinary pieces on display and highlighted the educational value of such events for aspiring hoteliers.
