INTER COLLEGE FLOWER ARRANGEMENT COMPETITION

READY, SET, WIN is what Regents always follow wherever they go. With experienced faculty and state of the art facilities the students are provided with the top notch college experience.

IN THE PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE: On 4th February, 2023 the 5th sem students of Regency competed 130 students of 5 top colleges from Hyderabad in the annual flower arrangement competition. Students at regency where winning or losing doesn’t matter however always exhibit their outstanding show. The competition included 3 categories – Ikebana arrangement, Bouquet arrangement, and Freestyle arrangement. The participants were given 1.5 hours of time to make their arrangements.

MOMENTUM GAINED: The preparation commenced days prior. The 5th sem students under the guidance of Mrs. Priya of housekeeping brainstormed their ideas in order to make the perfect flower arrangement with the right theme. Learning made them stand apart and identify a unique style in the display. Such competitions bring out the ability, organizational skills, innovative thoughts and creativity; Sense of design and experience among students.

A PATHWAY TO SUCCESS: The competitors were welcomed and expressed the importance of flower arrangement and ikebana. As the competition started, everyone’s eyes were on the students of Regency as they cruised effortlessly with the finest of arrangements in a visually appealing display. The students and faculty of other colleges were bamboozled by seeing the breathtaking arrangements and innovative themes. Floral arrangement was evaluated on the basis of the idea, theme, creativity and presentation. The jury listed the following students in the competition for their splendid display.

Regency secured the most wins than any other college which participated in the competition. Whatever the students have achieved would never have been possible without their constant endeavor.

The rooms division HOD at the competition applauded the students of RCHMCT for their astounding performance and suggested their students to capture photos of flower arrangement made by regents so that they could assimilate. Regents with a pride in their hearts returned college and were appreciated by the faculty for their efforts. Regency will keep winning as long as there is supporting faculty, enthusiastic and determined students. Students with such multi skills explore to get more career opportunities in interior designing, event planner, floral designer etc.

Eventually, Principal of regency P. Ramesh Kumar Reddy stressed that the true potential of the student lies to face the outer world unless and until they compete. He was much pleased to see students performing and excelling to new heights and creating a distinct path in this competitive world.
