I am Ranya Thobani of Ist Year BHM, pursuing hotel management from regency college, college and so far it has been an amazing journey. I got to know about this college from my cousin who himself has been a student of this best college and is very successful in this field, his words about this top college encouraged me to search more about the college and in my research i was impressed with their interesting and innovative live and real inputs which I have gone through via social media, the course curriculum is very well designed and the infrastructure of the college seemed great and excellent. That very moment i knew i will join this top college.

So, now talking about hospitality industry, it is rightly said that it is an umbrella term. It is a very wide. We cannot say that hospitality industry is only limited to hotels, but actually the meaning of hospitality is the act of giving service, and service is given in the hospitals also and is referred as being hospitable. The tourism and hospitality industry has emerged as one of the key drivers of growth among the services sector in the world.

“Struggle is the meaning of life” and without sincere efforts there is no success. Hospitality industry is a 24/7 job, it is a restless job. But it actually depends on people how they take it; one should enjoy every thing, and take the opportunity in every possible ways. Hospitality industry gives us practical knowledge, rather than giving only theoretical knowledge. It teaches us how to think, how to tackle situations, how to handle stress, how to communicate. All these things matters a lot in every individual’s life. This industry contains lot of passion & hard work. There should be a joy in struggle also; we don’t know that what tomorrow will bring us. Struggle will never end till we are living. Some people usually think that hotel industry is very easy. But nothing comes easy in life; there involves commitment, dedication, thinking smart etc.

We are gearing up with the new beginning will have an increased emphasis on the local tourist, foreign visitors are likely to remain less for some more time. As uncertainty prevails on the future of the industry and millions employed in the services, few rays of hope emerge from promising news coming from abroad. It is being assumed that by the winter season of 2021-22, business will be as usual for the Hospitality Industry in India. Once again there will be tourists arriving from all over the world to explore the mystic magnificence of India, its rich culture and grand heritage. The tourist would return but safety procedures are here to stay, the industry for now needs to display resilience and innovation along with its spirit to provide a safe and comfortable experience for the guest.
