Parent Teacher Association “Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents.” -Rob Beauprez -On Friday and Saturday, August 26th & 27th, 2022, Regency College of Culinary Arts and Hotel Management, conducted a “Parent-Teacher Meeting” in the college premises. All the parents / guardians of 1st year BHMCT, BCT&CA and CCCB students were invited to attend the meeting. WHERE WAS THE MEETING HELD? The meeting was held in the college premises, in the college seminar hall. The seminar hall was decorated well with orange and black colored balloons covering the entire ceiling along with a red carpeted dais with a seating arrangement for the honorable chairman Mr. Mohd Fathe Khaleq, Mr. P.Ramesh Kumar Reddy and the day’s Chief guest Prof. Hayavadana Vice Principal of TextileTechnology university College of Technology, Osmania University for BHMCT and Chief guest Ms. Radhika Tata, General manager, Mr. Madhu Babu, Talent & Culture Manager, IBIS Hyderabad for BCTCA & CCCB. WHAT TOOK PLACE IN THE MEETING? -The parent teachers meeting began at 10:30pm, right after the parents and guardians meeting the respective coordinators of the BHMCT and BCT&CA batches. Refreshing drinks of mint mojito were served. Everyone gathered in the seminar hall, and was addressed by 2nd year Regents. Event started with a song sung by 2nd year regents which deliberately signifies unity, tolerance and brotherhood. This was followed by a Welcome speech by Head of Department Ms. Uma Bala about the 28 years success journey of Regency. Meeting was followed by honorable chairman Mr. Mohd Father Khaleq who always supports budding hoteliers to hone their skills to build a bright career. Principal addressed the rules, regulations, and code of conduct of the college. The crowd was keen on listening to all the things said by the principal and felt the energy and passion exude from his words. -After the principal’s speech, the Chief Guest of the day Ms. Radhika Tata and Mr. Madhu Babu addressed the parents and regents in the audience and answered to the queries posed by the students in a brief yet nice way. And this concluded the parent teachers meeting. A delicious luncheon was prepared by the QTK department chef and the BHMCT & BCTCA 2nd year budding chefs. A rich ghee pulao, nizamihandi, murgh korma,soup, pasta salad, corn salad, papadichaat, chutneys, hot sambar, papads, raita, pickles and not to forget—even various types of pastries were made. It was awesome. All the parents and students enjoyed the spread and ate to their heart’s content. BY THE END OF THE DAY: -The day ended with the regents showing a tour of the college to their respective parents, as well as meeting the entire faculty and the principal. Needless to say, the day was fulfilling and nice.
